Sometime back I asked my viewers if there’s anyone who would like to get their UX portfolios reviewed and shared with the broader audience. While it must be daunting to put it out there, constructive feedback and specific pointers can make all the difference. I’ve received a few asks to review the portfolios and this video will mark the fourth request by one of the UX/UI and product designers from Spain. In this video, I’ll cover a few of his cases and highlight some areas that might make it much more effective: UX portfolio case study and how to make it flow, showing more than telling, and other tips. More importantly, I’ll share why user research powered UX case study will always trump the UI design and branding examples in the UX portfolios.
I recently also created a playlist that contains all my videos on UX portfolios here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM2Dd2NIn2Co0dXW7ySkIQEl-8zMcrQiP
