Getting stuck and not being able to progress, climbing the proverbial ladder, and in other words not being able to get promoted is something which every one of developing designers will experience at some point in their journeys. This is the issue that goes beyond your typical design specialities in UX research, product, and service design. In fact, every specialty you could think of will reward people for doing their current tasks at hand well. The harder part is to prove and step up to the next level of existing commitments. In this video, I’ll try to answer one of the junior designer questions I’ve got asked days back which should also be helpful to others who are uncertain what they should be doing to get promoted further.
