In this latest instalment of junior UX portfolio reviews, I’ll walk through the latest viewer submission which covers the junior designer’s UX portfolio and a couple of case studies. One thing that is very common for junior UX, product and UI designers is over-designing the portfolio itself. In this video, I’ll highlight why that might backfire when it’s viewed by design hiring managers.
Sometime back I asked my viewers if there’s anyone who would like to get their UX portfolios reviewed and shared with the broader audience. While it must be daunting to put it out there, constructive feedback and specific pointers can make all the difference.
Would you like your UX design portfolio to be reviewed with constructive pointers? Drop me a line.
I recently also created a playlist that contains all my videos on UX portfolios here.
