This week’s pick: Laws of UX. This web space features 20 of the most prominent and notable UX rules, maxims and principles any UX or product designer should memorise, keep in mind and use daily. Think Fitt’s, Hick’s, Gestalt psychology etc. The best bit about Laws of UX is its simplicity: from description, application, historical bits to downloadable posters anyone can print out and use. In the past, I’ve used all of these posters to enrich the workspace. These visual design principles serve as a reminder to do better user experience, as well as signal to outsiders what UX is really about.
Note: we’re not affiliated with the tool makers. It’s just a great UX tool you should know about.
In this new weekly UX design, user research and product design tools series I’ll share some of the best picks I’ve encountered to date. You’ll find out about the best apps, extensions, websites and other helpful tools.
