In this latest installment of UX portfolio reviews, I’ll walk through the latest viewer submission which covers the very first UX case study that the junior UX designer has done.
While it’s an impressive first stab at documenting and presenting the design work as usual there are a lot of improvement areas. Some of the bits I cover include the difference between design thinking and the UX process, the necessity of deep UX research when designing the user experience, and other suggestions.
Sometime back I asked my viewers if there’s anyone who would like to get their UX portfolios reviewed and shared with the broader audience. While it must be daunting to put it out there, constructive feedback and specific pointers can make all the difference.
