Design Tool Tuesday Episode 70: First Look at Open Source Quantified UX and UI Design Tool
UX research and design is a niche industry. And the quantified UX tools space, even with the multitude of new developments, is still minimal. That’s why when design tools like these come out it’s worth pausing and reevaluating how we as designers craft our work.
From time to time, you get these open source and charitable projects that seem almost too good to be true – because their goal is to give back to the UX design community over greed. Specifically, today I share a recent UX tool discovery – Quant UX – that seeks to bring quantified user testing, variables, conditions, and all other items we need to prototype truly high fidelity products and services.
Note: we’re not affiliated with the tool makers. It’s just a great UX tool you should know about.
In this new weekly UX design, user research and product design tools series I’ll share some of the best picks I’ve encountered to date. You’ll find out about the best apps, extensions, websites and other helpful tools.
