Continuing from the recent Apple developments in the silicon space (M1 chip release) as well as the accompanying release of the new macOS Big Sur, this video will cover the latter. I’ll walk you through some of the key areas in the new operating system that all user researchers, product designers, and UX specialists should know about. While the majority of the enhancements will be to do with the design system unification and UI streamline across the mobile and desktop experiences, there are a few challenges that you as a designer will need to face in the near future.
