UX Portfolio Review: UX Work Under NDA?

Blog Career development Content design Featured Video material

Sometime back I asked my viewers if there’s anyone who would like to get their UX portfolio reviewed and shared with the broader audience. While it must be daunting to put it out there, constructive feedback and specific pointers can make all the difference. I’ve received a few asks to review the portfolios and this video will mark the fourth request by one of the UX designers from India.

Fact is a lot of designer’s work will end up under the NDA which limits them from using those UX case studies to publically display or associate with the work done. This portfolio shows an example of how UX and product designers can tactfully hint at the work they have done without showcasing any intellectual property or breaking most NDA.

In this UX portfolio review video, I’ll also give specific improvement pointers and highlight areas in his UX case study selection that could make or break a portfolio in the review process. There is no better way to learn what good looks like besides an open review.

I recently also created a playlist that contains all my videos on UX portfolios here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM2Dd2NIn2Co0dXW7ySkIQEl-8zMcrQiP
