So how does one get into UX and lands their first job with little to no experience? This is one of the most common questions I keep on answering online. I’ve scribbled some material on getting started here and here before, however the question keeps on popping up.
Without scratching my head for too long, I decided to pull a quick video explaining the key items you must have in order to progress with experience design career (or any other design direction). I also outline 3 key steps to landing first role; be it apprenticeship, internship or junior position. This is a framework that worked for me years ago, and should work for you too:
